Maximum Fun Under the Sun with Beach Hut MAX SPF100

To put it plainly, Beach Hut MAX SPF 100 got me at SPF100.  I don’t know about you but it is the first time I encountered a sunblock lotion with that high SPF. I first saw its billboard along C-5 last week and I knew it was what I’m gonna travel with to Davao and Bohol for our summer getaway in May.  My confidence in Beach Hut came about by my previous use of their Max 75++ Clear Spray Sunblock in 2009.

So I was more than glad when I arrived at my doorstep today with this sweet package from Beach Hut to welcome me. Way before Beach Hut contacted me to get first dibs on their brand new sunblock offering, I was already a user of the product. Here’s the thing, as much as I love the vacations that happen around the summer season, more than the tanning, I really don’t like the painful feel of the sun on my skin. It hurts like crazy. Although I can experiment with practically anything on my skin and get zero to minimal breakouts, my skin is sensitive that way.

Beach Hut MAX SPF 100 Unbelievable Light Lotion Sunblock

Not only does Beach Hut offer us with the first sun block in the country with SPF 100 protection, they also now have Beach Hut Face Ultra Sensitive Hypoallergenic Sunblock SPF 65. Sweet! Now aside from all the basics in my sunblock preference covered, I find it was just right to test drive it for myself before I go on typing away and vouching for this brand.

Here’s much I can say, aside from practically no grease at all,  it is probably the most pleasant smelling sunblock I have tried to date. Nothing of that strong distinct smell usual to sunblock that we all probably got used to. I super love that it is NOT GUNKY AT ALL (I just have to put that in All Caps), 😉 which I always thought was all too common of sunblock lotions. Truth is, I was actually expecting it to feel heavier and thicker because of the high SPF. No grease, nothing. Spreading it over my arms was practically effortless. I’d just have to say that it is too light for a sunblock at all. Now I get it why it claims to be an unbelievable light lotion sunblock.

I just love how brands innovate and get better at what they offer their consumers. As for the Beach Hut Face Ultra Sensitive Hypoallergenic Sunblock SPF 65, I will have to publish a separate entry on it altogether since I have yet to try it. Watch out for my review. So before you hit the beach or just about anywhere this summer, don’t settle for anything less than 100, Use Beach Hut MAX SPF100 – you guys can thank me later. 🙂

Funny but I can’t find the 75SPF anymore so I had to switch to another brand. At least they have 100SPF now. Will check it out. 😀
