I’m sure you think you’ve heard enough of different brands of Glutathione. But here’s something worth a close second look at – Thiocell Glutathione Lozenges. It came over the weekend with a basket full of fruits, on Mother’s Day, at that! Thank you, Brady Pharma, Inc.! You know best how to treat a mommy recuperating from illness! I used to the fruits to make our fruits shakes. I loved the kiwis the best!
I have been regularly taking another glutathione supplement primarily because I need to ensure my liver’s health. My allergic medication has compelled me to regularly take antihistamine on a daily basis and glutathione acts as our liver’s detoxifier. As for the supposed skin whitening side effect, I was not really so gung-ho for. As for the supplements I have been taking, I really have not seen much of a difference. Let’s see, now that I switched to Thiocell. After that Batangas sun soaking last month, I really would love to get my color back.
Now, if I happen to sound a little Greek from here. You see, I have kind of done my assignment. I have not really exactly been the healthiest individual in the planet. Having to deal with chronic allergies here and there and have one birthday in a hospital bed, believe me when I say, I know what I’m saying. This is what basically pushes me to pursue a healthier lifestyle.
And when I found out that Glutathione is essentially a triple threat to bodily toxins beyond detoxifying the liver, it also neutralizes free radicals and enhances the immune system. Thiocell also is beneficial for diabetic patients with fatty liver. Thiocell does not contain alcohol or animal products and contains no added sugar, starch, wheat, preservatives or artificial flavor.

Sulit.com.ph held their very first blogger event last October 24, 2012 at Spicy Fingers in Greenbelt 2, Makati City. We arrived a little early and we were able to meet the people behind the big name “Sulit.” Not a lot of brands still do that nowadays. And that’s something that I personally appreciate about the event itself. Which draws me to start this post with a shout out of Thanks to the people behind Sulit!!! Almost everyone from the Sulit team took time to sit with us. Even the Sulit founder himself, RJ David was gracious and very approachable. Bloggers can make use of that special treatment from time to time. Thanks so much! It was a fun night!
The event was hosted by the gorgeous RX 93.1’s DJ Gelli Victor. Me-Ann Bundalian, the Marketing Head of Sulit and Jean Nery Magboo, Sulit’s Corporate Communications Supervisor also gave us some backgrounder of Sulit.com.ph and snippets of what we should expect throughout the night.
Sulit.com.ph Founder, Mr. RJ David
The geniuses behind Sulit.com.ph are RJ and Arianne David. They started out SULIT right in their home and basically as an experiment in September 2006 as a free online classified ads website. I have a lot of respect for people who think outside the box and act on their guts.

Although I have heard about the Boardwalk brand some years ago, it was only last week that I had the privilege to have a closer look at what it is beyond what I formerly thought of as just some random MLM clothing company business. Sure, I did have an inkling that it has made quite a name for itself since it was launched given that they have big time endorsers that I now see on highway billboards – Kris Aquino, Derek Ramsey, to name a few. But being pro-active in doing their share in preserving the environment as they do their thing is something else altogether.
Boardwalk Business Ventures, Inc. supports 11.20.2011 A Run For The Pasig River. This is spearheaded by the ABS-CBN Foundation, an event that promotes a safe and clean Pasig River and aims to bring back its former glory. You might want to register for the upcoming event – Run for the Pasig River.
Last week, held at Ming’s Restaurant in Ortigas was Boardwalk’s First Blogger’s Forum and Kikay Corner was one of the few bloggers who were invited. Aside from learning about Boardwalk’s advocacy run for Pasig River, they also discussed how the business works and the fun of being a personal shopper.

I am not sure if it’s because I was born around the same time Hello Kitty was handed over to Sanrio to be its main distributor in 1976, that I feel a strong bond between us or it is just the plain fact that every girl born right from when Hello Kitty came into existence grew up having her around. From my childhood, I have loved Hello Kitty. Until today that I have a child myself, I still remain loving her. I got a little aloof when Dear Daniel came into the picture. But I soon got over it.
Hello Kitty is probably every kikay’s (big or small) Sanrio character. I’m sure some must have outgrown her at one time as they grew up. But you have to admit to it that seeing her once again, you cannot help but adore her. I can’t! It brings me back to my childhood days when I went giddy over my kitty toothbrush, collecting my perfumed stationeries with her wide, cute, left ear-ribboned face on every page.
