
My all time favorite scent is Baby Doll by YSL. It was first launched in 2000. Top notes are orange, pineapple, black currant and apple; middle notes are freesia, heliotrope, lily-of-the-valley and rose; base notes are sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla and cedar.
I would have to say that it is almost like a give away thing for the hubby, because special occasion will not be that mind boggling for him because he knows he can’t go wrong with perfumes.
A little trivia about scents. Do you know that most men believe that perfume has the power to turn on or off? For some reason, guys favor yummy scents, 55% (sweet and tasty) over fruity notes, 27% because of the familiarity of these scents to their simple childhood days. These tasty notes go towards the subconscious that loosens him up. Only 18% actually find floral scents appealing. So that’s a little guide for you right there when you go shop for your next scent.
