My Kikay loot from the Crocs Preview Sale for Citi Cardholders

When I received my statement bill from Citibank last week, I was thrilled to find this inserted leaflet which says we get to preview the Crocs Mega Sale a day before it opens to the public. If it wasn’t for this preview, there was no way I was to bother going to a sure jampacked sale event.   Imagine my surprise when we got there at 9 A.M. -an hour earlier, to find so many people lined up. It took 30 minutes for us to be able to get in from the moment the door opened at 10 A.M.

I took a quick shot of the people in the cashier area. It was too crowded where the rows of Crocs are. I only got to take a few shots using my mobile and they aren’t pretty.

Upon entry, each of us were given a huge plastic bag and off we went to do our business.

You cannot see the sale price tagged on the items. So what we had to do was check with the large streamers for the sale price from time to time, which wasn’t the most convenient. But there is no complaining. People are thrilled enough that they can buy Crocs at sale prices.

Here’s to give you an idea how much you will be saving if you are planning to line up for the Crocs Mega Sale, happening from March 18 – 21, 2010 (10am to 6pm). I wasn’t able to take decent photos of the streamer from top to bottom for obvious reasons.  But these  will more or less will allow you to plan ahead if you are going to the Crocs Mega Sale.  I am not sure though if desired sizes will still be available. We must have made it to the first 200 at least but they ran out of the model that I was hoping to buy –  the Hanalei. All they had were that of sizes 4 and 9! 🙁

Instead I got for myself a pair of Cabana Women in black and another of Lily LJ Plaid Women in bubblegum/chocolate.

Cabana Women in black  – P2,320 from P2,900

Lily LJ Plaid Women in bubblegum/chocolate P1,250 from P2,500

Of course I also got a pair of Lightning McQueen molded Crocs for our little guy, a pair of pink fuchsia Crocs for my son’s cousin, Shane and the hubby got a couple of pairs. The damage was ten grand but I believe we got more value for our money.  The little guy needs to get his replaced anyway and I can use a few more pairs that I could use alternately with my most loved pair of  Fit Flop, which I’m doing a blog post very soon.
