Got pampered much at Nisce Face ‘n Skin

The Kikay in this corner got invited to Nisce Skin ‘n Face beauty center in SM Megamall last Wednesday, June 23, 2010. I went there expecting to try out a single treatment. But was pleasantly surprised that they have got an array of treatments lined up for me to review. Check this out…

  • Deodorizing Cool Mint Foot Spa – P450
  • Manicure with Orly Polish – P200
  • Pedicure with Orly Polish – P250
  • Whole Body Massage (1hr.) – P399
  • Facial Whitening Arbutin Paper Mask – P550

I was one giddy kikay, to say the least. My aesthetician who provided me the most relaxing foot pampering (Deodorizing Cool Mint Foot Spa) I’ve had to date, was Aileen. I spent a good two hours or so with her as she started off by immersing my feet in a bubble bath.

That’s Aileen working on getting my legs cling wrapped right after lathering them with their mint cream.  I swear I could lay on that supine position forever, if I can. I’m definitely going back for this!

She then proceeded to give me my manicure and pedicure in Monroe Red. Nisce Skin ‘n Face uses Orly lacquers, no less.

I can be a little o.c. when it comes to my nails. I have my Solingen set and own collection of polish. I have done my nails for as long as I can remember. The few times that I got my digits done are when I was too preggers to comfortably do my own toes and then there were a few times that I went to the salon when I was too busy to get my nails done.  Most often than not, I’d get nipped by my aesthetician. Surprisingly, Aileen did not give me the ouchies! I love her already that I asked what her day off is. Tuesday! 🙂

Freshly manicured with Orly Polish in Monroe Red. Woot! 😀

The therapist who took care of me so wanted me to try out their Tranquility massage. Tranquility massage is Swedish, Shiatsu and Thai, all rolled in one. She was mighty proud of it. But had to beg off and told her that I’ll be back for that. Meanwhile, I settled for their Lotus massage, which is  their “dry massage.” I was off to another event in a few hours and I did not want to grace the event looking wet. If I knew I could carry that off, I wouldn’t have minded. But wet look isn’t for me. 🙂

The massage room is equipped with its very own shower room. Neat! That’s a plus, if you ask me. I wouldn’t have to go out the room all robed up treading the hall towards a common washroom.

The massage wasn’t bad.  I was never a massage person to begin with. But at least I did not feel sore like I did in one of the previous massages I’ve had.  I have got to try their Tranquility massage. I’m sure my therapist wasn’t just raving over that for nothing. The fact that I was not sore despite the “dry massage,” tells a lot already.

I was later sent off to one of the facial rooms. I love that Nisce values their clients’ need for privacy. Even their facial rooms are individualized. 😉 The aesthetician got busy sponging, cleansing, steaming (10mins.) – to open the pores, facial massaging, pricking of white and black heads. And back to sponging and then laser to close the pores. I honestly lost track of the exact process sequence. After all those scrubbing and sponging, the aesthetician left a Facial Whitening Arbutin Paper Mask on my face for about 20 mins. That’s the treatment of my choice mainly because I cannot have those couple of protruding pimples I had removed. Else I’d look tomato-ish in my next event appointment for that day.

That was one sweet pampering treat! Thank you Nisce Face ‘n Skin! 🙂

My overall pampering experience at Nisce was fantabulous! The lovely ladies from Nisce sent me off with these beauty goodies and GCs! 🙂
