Kikay Corner’s Flawless White Advanced Facial Experience

I was especially impressed during my first facial treatment from Flawless during my Easy Peel experience. Although that got me glued where I was for a few days, it was actually worth it as I stepped out of the house with a more radiant glow as the dead skin peeled off by itself. I decided to have the Flawless White Advanced Facial in the same branch where I had my Easy Peel done – SM Marikina Branch. The best Flawless branch I have ever been to, I should say. I really cannot emphasize this enough in my posts. I love that the doctor gave me the freedom to use whatever whitening regimen I most comfortable with. What was mainly emphasized during the consultation with Dra. Candao was that if there a best time for me to use a whitening regimen, this would be it – right after the Easy Peel Procedure done on me. Most beauty centers I know would practically shove their products to their clients. Hard selling is a major turn off for me and there is none of this in Flawless.

The Regular Flawless White Facial (P560) does the job of exfoliating the dead layer of the skin. The Whitening Mask that is applied during the former contains non-toxic and non-photosensitive substance that lightens and evens out the skin tone for clearer and luminous skin. The Flawless White Advanced Facial (P880) is a step up as it restores the balance of the skin for crystal clear and rosy look by moisturizing and smoothening of the skin. Noticeably brighter complexion, a more even skin tone, transparency in old acne scars and discoloration from the sun.

Facials in Flawless are always jumpstarted with this very refreshing foaming facial wash. Pardon the shot, I didn’t know that the flash was turned off. I love the expertise of every aesthetician in Flawless that has held my face. They really know what they are doing and I haven’t started telling you yet about the facial massage that goes with every facial package. Pure bliss! And if that wasn’t enough, hand massage is included too with every facial package. Hands will be sanitized, massaged, covered with a special hot pack and mittens. Now I know you’d understand why there was no way I can get that captured. πŸ˜€

Anna Mae was my facialist that day. Β She was scraping my face clean from all the rubbish. Yep! I didn’t know there were a lot until I saw this…

dead skin

…and more dead skin. Ewwww!!!!

I know that you see facial hair too and believe me I almost panicked when I went about to interrogate if my hair won’t grow back and make me look like a hairy beast of sorts. Β This scraping procedure where the facialist used a surgical knife is necessary for better product absorption of the whitening mask that was applied on my face. Β And it definitely won’t make my facial hair grow back like crazy as my very creative mind would have me imagine. πŸ˜‰

Flawless is the very first beauty place I have been to that uses gauze in between my skin and the laser stick. They explained that this is a layer of protection from the direct beam of the laser to the skin, which can be quite powerful in electro something figure.

The Mask! Yes, you can say that with me again! It was the first mask I’ve had that covered all parts of my face save for the holes in my nose! But this is what practically sets it apart from the regular whitening facial that Flawless has. It was relaxing through and through. I stepped out of Flawless that day feeling light (the scraping must have done it) and refreshed, with a tad clearer face too. Hello! Thanks. πŸ™‚

Hello Kat! Here is the link to my review of Easy Peel: https://www.kikaycorner.net/2010/07/easy-peel-by-flawless.html

Yes, I’d have to say that what you are experiencing is normal. I wasn’t able to leave the house for a few days. Because you are really going to peel. The redness is an indication that the formula applied on your face has started to work on your skin. The average is around 5 days until you actually get to see your old skin/dead skin come off, I was told. Mine was a little longer.

As I mentioned in my review of the Easy Peel, I super love Dr. Candao who applied the chemical stuff on my face. Because she did not make me feel compelled that I need to avail of Flawless products. I have lots of skin products from other brands that I felt would be such a waste if I don’t make use of them. I also need to try them out, so I can properly post reviews on them. So that made me more confident that Flawless is not in any way forcing their stuff on their clients. πŸ™‚

It has been more than a year since I tried this, but I think I was told that using products while peeling isn’t encouraged b/c it will get in the way of your skin’s response to the peeling agent. But I think I did use sunblock whenever I leave the house too. πŸ™‚

    Hi Kay!

As per the derma’s advice, I can use any brand of my choice after peeling. That’s what I did. πŸ™‚ I cannot anymore recall what particular product I use since I use a handful because I review quite a bit for different brands. I guess, you can go right back to the products you use prior to having the peel.

I really don’t fancy the sevearl steps to skin care. I tried but I fail everytime. I haven’t gone beyond the second week. I just use any soap/facial wash within reach. No toners. But I have a handful of makeup removers.

Also, I find that as much as I love a particular brand, I also need to switch brands from time to time because my skin tends to get “immuned” to the product. Not sure if it’s the same as build up for the hair. But it’s that way for me. I give a product a couple of months, then switch to a different brand. Then go back again to my fave brand. It’s the same principle I use for hair products. I alternate two brands. πŸ™‚
