e.l.f. love <3

I just love e.l.f.’s philosophy, “Every woman should have the opportunity to participate in innovation, without sacrificing her budget.” Ever since my friend, Iris introduced me to this brand, which I did not bother with previously, I had, not once regretted a purchase.  My confession of confessions: I have practically dropped the well known brands I’ve been using for e.l.f.

I cannot even begin to tell you how e.l.f. tickles my fancy. Okay, let me just start out with the Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara.  I was not too keen on buying because I still have my Clinique and Maybelline stashed away in my makeup bag. I have never been big on mascaras precisely because of the fact that I have little to zero lashes to put them on! Believe me when I say, I can’t even get curlashes to work their wonders on them!  That was until this e.l.f. girl gave me a makeover and made my lashes pop as if I was wearing falsies. I.am.not.kidding! And she did not use a curlash at that. I was ready to pay a grand or two just for me to achieve that effortlessly on my own (finally). Imagine my shock (pleasant, that is) when I was told that the e.l.f. Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara retails for P249.75 (approx $6)!

Now I cannot anymore afford to be without e.l.f. From the time that I tested the eyebrow kit, which by the way, I also swear by. I have had no allergic reactions whatsover. It’s all love for e.l.f. for me. They also come in classy, very MAC-like packages. Not that packages mean a great deal to me. The least used e.l.f. beauty product I have is the plumping lip glaze. I’m really not big on pouty lips. But since e.l.f. beauties are so affordable, I get to experiment all I want. 😉

But as for overall coverage, I am still a MAC fanatic. I still haven’t tried the e.l.f. counterpart, whose package is interestingly a MAC look a like. I may have been a wee bit hesitant. But with the satisfaction I have had with all the e.l.f. cosmetics I’ve tried so far, I’m going to give their foundation a try. 🙂

I’m sure you will love it, Bea! You can start with one of their eyeshadows palette. Sells for P120. I’ve ran out of one already and I never run out on eyeshadows in all my 34 years. Because I almost always have to throw them because they are too old or I give them away. e.l.f. is really so good! The primer does a great job too. Di na ko bibili ng urban decay! 😛

I’m also curious where you bought this elf. I’m currently buying physicians formula for my makeup because I love their loose mineral makeup powder because it’s not too heavy on the face. I buy it from http://www.tameraonline.com. Do you know if elf has a counterpart for loose mineral makeup powder?

Where can you get them in the Philippines? 🙂
    Thanks in advance.
