My leaning has always been towards products that are naturally driven, and as for shampoos, I prefer them SLS/SLES free. For this very reason, I get giddy with excitement when I discover beauty products like Wen Cleansing Conditioner by Chaz Dean. What’s sweet about this is I actually get first dibs! Yay! Wen Pomegranate Cleansing Conditioner
What’s so wrong about regular shampoos, you ask? Most commercial shampoos we grew up with actually have harsh detergents and SLS/SLES that strip away the natural oil from our hair causing our it to go dry, fall, frizz and quick to manifest aging.
Chaz Dean, a celebrity-stylist based in the USA in cooperation with Guthy Renker (makers of Proactiv Solution) worked together to formulate a new concept in hair cleansing, WEN® Cleansing Conditioner. Wen Cleansing Conditioner is a 5-in-1 formula. This all in one formula takes the place of your:
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Deep Conditioner
- Detangler
- Leave-in Conditioner
Unlike the regular shampoos we got used to, Wen does its job without lathering. For some reason, we got psyched to thinking that the lather is imperative for cleansing action. For everyone’s information, the harmful chemical SLS/SLES is what causes the lathering and not the key ingredients that really cleanses.
Wen Cleansing Conditioner cleanses hair thoroughly but without lathering and without all the harsh ingredients that may be found in ordinary shampoos so your hair is left with sheen, moisture, manageability and better color retention. 
KEY INGREDIENTS: Wen Cleansing Conditioner Pomegranate Variant
Pomegranate Extract: Has anti oxidant properties comparable to wine or green tea. It is also incredibly hydrating.
Hydrolized Soy Protein: Protein derived from Soya beans. Increases strength and manageability Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Juice: Healing, moisturizing, anti fungal, antibacterial properties.
Rosemary Extract: Amazing antioxidant properties, stimulates hair growth and fight scalp problems.
Chamomile extract: Calming, soothing with antibiotic and anti inflammatory properties. Also used for dry and flaky skin.
Marigold Extract: Helpful as an antiseptic, healing wounds and reducing inflammation/

I have only used Chaz Dean’s Wen Cleansing Conditioner a few times and I already love what it is doing to my hair. First off, the convenience of not following up shampoo with a conditioner and then a leave-on thereafter is downright awesome for me. Treated hair can be high maintenance, as we all know. And lazy me just keeps foregoing the steps after shampoo, for the most part. And if I can only find the best wigs online that won’t look too conspicuous just to forego styling altogether, I would. Which explains my hair going rebellious every now and then. I have seen none of that since Wen.
