Victor Basa jump starts Asus Philippines’ series of Incredible Workshops.
With the level of authority Victor Basa has gained through his years of personal branding through his online presence, he is not merely tagged as a Filipino actor, model, tv host, he’s also a well-known blogger who has made a name for himself and has since been a sought after ambassador of an array of brands.
Victor Basa summons the blogging community to go beyond the mediocre by stepping up our game in blogging. That’s always something we can make use of especially with blogs that have mushroomed here and there. Not to be entirely competitive about it but more to keep readers interested. To be engaging should always be a goal but personal branding is made valuable by going back to the basics. First off, Victor enumerates some of his “style inspirations” being: Allesandro Squarzi, Pitti Uomo and Lapo Elkann.
According to Victor, there are numerous perks to “style blogging,” which includes: exclusive access, gadgets and travel experiences.
Fashion Tips and Tricks for Men
A few of rule of thumb Victor shared were:
- socks belong to the fitness center
- Shoes must-haves: Boat shoes, Loafers, Black Captoes, Double Monkstraps, Vans.
Fashion Tips and Tricks for Women
Victor admits to not being an expert when it comes to women’s fashion but he gave us, nevertheless, a piece of his mind. Some of which are:
- Simplicity is the best, whether that goes for the wardrobe items or makeup.
- The right belt can make an outfit look better when properly worn.
Victor concluded his talk and closed it with this statement: “Style is subjective but there are time and tested rules you should follow in order to look good. You should master the rules first before you break them. Experiment with different looks in order to express your identity.” He adds, “Accessories and details complement your overall look. Simplicity is the best, and there are classic looks that you can always go back to when in doubt.”
And because it’s blogging that we’re talking about, our main machine is the laptop. Victor’s pick is the notebook that has monster specs like The Asus Zenbook.

Asus VivoBook Flip
Don’t get me wrong, I still am no less impressed by my trusty, almost a year old Asus X455L but this Asus VivoBook Flip is the one I feel strongly that I can bring with me anywhere. This will probably make me more productive than I think I already am. No more downtime, baby!
My good friend, Mauie and I are totally digging the gorgeous and stylish Asus VivoBook Flip TP301 – with a super light 1.7kg weight, we can practically bring it anywhere, camp some place and blog away! This model is 10% slimmer than its previous predecessors, measuring a mere 19.9mm thin! If that isn’t amazing, I don’t know what is!
Thank you Asus Philippines for the very informative Incredible Workshop and for always coming up with the best in future technology.
